Former Director of Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking Ireland & UK
Brief info

Louise, a former Director of Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking Ireland & UK and member of its Senior Management Team from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, I established Luminosity Consulting to support individuals and businesses in clarifying and realising their personal and business ambitions. Clients include HSE, BOI, motion graphics and have recently been selected as Lead Coach on the IMI Women in Leadership programme.

With over 20 years’ experience in financial services, I have multi discipline expertise, ranging from customer management, lending, policy creation, risk and governance, IT and change management. Initially managing portfolios of corporate clients, in 2011, I was asked to devise a revised operating response for my business to the new challenging, heavily regulated operating environment. This role (Head of Strategy & Operations) required managing cross functional teams and consultant relationships (McKinsey, Blackrock, Accenture, KPMG etc.) on strategic, risk reviews, critical IT transformation, executive communications etc. I am known for my ability to listen, to establish and leverage diverse connections for business benefit and my tenacity.

On a personal level, I was the first Head of Strategy & Operations and the first and only female director. To function at my best, I rely on self-awareness, clear communication and strong networks to ensure I and my teams/clients operated at their best for the good of both themselves and their organisations. Giving back to the community is also important to me and I am a friend of Business to Arts, a member of the Management Committee of Terenure Swim Club and a member of the Terenure Rugby Club Strategy Development Committee.

Professional qualifications include a Diploma in Executive Coaching (IMI 2018, 1st class), an Executive MBA (UCD, 2003, achieving the Dean’s Prize for Outstanding Achievement) and B. Comm. International (2004, double 1st in Commerce & German). I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, a qualified Emotional Capital reviewer and EQ-i 2.0 practitioner (individual and team EQi reviews and coaching). Professional courses completed include Developing General Management Potential (Cranfield University) and Business Development Model Training (Accenture). Supplementary to this I am a contributor to Accountancy Ireland and other publications on topics including workplace resilience and optimising organisational opportunities.

It is the unique combination of my organisational awareness, professional training and personal circumstances that enable me to successfully coach individual on their personal and organisational journey. Specialities include - greater self and organisational awareness; enhanced resilience and more tailored and timely communications to support a growth culture, improved working relations and better business outcomes.
